Higher Degree Entertainment

Here’s the low down:

Higher Degree was founded at 6:49 pm on Monday the 16th of July 2012 by several like-minded uni students with one goal:

“To provide a night for uni students, directed by uni students”

...and that’s about it, we’re just average Joe uni students having a dig at life. We’re not running this for ourselves, we are your servants. You speak and we’ll listen. You say jump, we’ll say how high. You say you want us to clean your toilet, we’ll say get f***ed! But seriously, we don’t have much of an idea what we’re doing but we have the means of getting it done.

The headquarters of this centre of excellence is the Hotel Indooroopilly or for those more sentimental patrons “The Indro”. Once you have stepped into the Indro, there is no going back...you will remain a loyal patron for all of your partying years to come.

So where is this academy of Good Times located exactly? Well it’s at 3 Station Road, Indooroopilly, a stone’s throw away (or even a watermelon) from the train station. Put it this way: its bloody close! Also in the immediate vicinity is the Indooroopilly bus station and shopping centre (a bit further away than a stone’s throw but easily attainable with a strong arm and a good tailwind).

Now you know the who and the where, now comes the all-important when. Feel free to pop in for drinks and a feed anytime you like, but the real party doesn’t start til Thursday night! Write it in your schedules everyone... Loose Change Thursdays!

Hotel Indooroopilly and Higher Degree take it to another level, literally. The entire second floor will be opened up creating a spacious mix of outdoor and indoor areas, lounges, D-floor and pool table. The night kicks off at 7pm, so flash your ID and head on upstairs. With free admission, $5 pizzas and DJ’s playing all night you’re in for an amazing night. So smash those piggy banks, empty those f***ing swear jars and head on down to the Indro for Loose Change Thursdays to send the shrapnel flying!
